FAQ

Questions couples ask

How guests RSVP, what $99 covers, and what happens after the wedding.

Guests and RSVP

How do guests RSVP?

They type their name, or use the code on the invite. One person replies for the household, including meals and notes.

Do guests need an account?

No. RSVP, the guest camera, and party boards all work from a link.

Can I paste or photograph a guest list?

Yes. Paste text or upload a spreadsheet, PDF, or photo of a list. You review names and households before anyone is added.

Can I collect meal choices and notes?

Yes. Set your meal options in admin. Each guest picks one when they accept, and there is a notes field for allergies or anything else.

Invitations

What do guests see when they open the save the date?

A short video of an envelope opening, then the page. We make that video from your colours and initials. You can upload your own instead.

Can I print paper invitations?

Yes. Preview a 5 by 7 front and back for each household, then print. The back has a code guests scan to RSVP.

Getting started

Where does my site live?

When you sign up you pick a web address, like alex-and-sam.vowd.site. Your site is live there right away. You can point a domain you already own at it later.

Do I need to know design or code?

No. Pick one of the six looks and edit words and photos on a live preview. Colors, fonts, and which pages guests see are simple choices.

Can I change looks after I start?

Yes. Your words and photos stay put. Switching looks only changes how they are shown, so you are not starting over.

Photos

What is the guest camera?

A camera page on your wedding site that guests open on their phones during the day. Photos land in a shared album, and you choose whether that album shows on your public photos page.

Pricing

What does $99 cover?

A Wedding Pass is $99, paid once for one wedding. No monthly fee, and no extra charge per guest. After you pay, we keep this wedding's site up.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. New sites start on a free trial with the guest site fully live, so you can share it before you pay.

What happens if the trial ends before I pay?

The guest site goes offline until you check out. Guests see a short notice. Your content is kept, and paying brings the site back.

Does the site stay up after the wedding?

Yes. Nothing changes after the day. Same address, same photos. You can keep adding pictures and come back on an anniversary.

Why do the date and our names lock near the wedding?

A pass covers one wedding. Schedule and venue freeze 24 hours before the ceremony, and names freeze the day after, so a pass cannot be reused for a different event. Photos, guests, and design stay editable.

Your data

Can I export my data?
